A man attacked crew members aboard a Flydubai flight traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday, stabbing a pilot and attempting to take control of the aircraft. Passengers and crew subdued the attacker, and the plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia with no fatalities reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News that investigations suggest the attacker, identified as an Omani national, had undergone "Islamist radical indoctrination" and likely intended to down the plane. Netanyahu noted that after being restrained, the man repeatedly asked crew members to kill him.

The UAE has opened an investigation to determine whether the incident involved terrorist activity. Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry confirmed that both pilots were medically cleared and returned to the UAE on Thursday.
