Your data, in plain English.

Armenian Listing is a national directory for the Armenian community in the United States, operated under a pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit application. You can reach the team at hello@armenianlisting.com (preferred), or, if that bounces, at vahehs@gmail.com.

We collect the minimum we need to run the directory and let you participate in it. That falls into a few buckets:

Account information. When you sign up, claim a business, or submit a listing, we store the email address and (optionally) the name you give us. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

Listing data. When you submit a business, event, job, car, marketplace item, deal, or other listing, we store everything you typed into the form — the business name, description, photos, contact info, and location — so we can display it in the directory. If you ask us to take a listing down, we will.

Payment information. Paid subscriptions and donations go through Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe sends us back a customer ID, the plan you bought, and the status of your subscription — that's it.

Basic analytics. Our host (Vercel) records aggregate page-view counts; Google Search Console tells us which search queries land people on the site. Neither system tracks individual users for advertising purposes, and we don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Security and audit data. To prevent abuse — fraudulent claim attempts, spam submissions — we record IP addresses and user-agent strings on sensitive actions like business claims. These logs are kept for a limited window and are not used for marketing.

We use this data to operate the directory: serve the page you asked for, deliver transactional emails (claim confirmations, subscription receipts, donation receipts, admin moderation notifications), and prevent abuse. We do not, and will not, sell your data to anyone. We don't share it with advertisers for targeting. We don't build behavioral profiles. If we ever change that policy, we'll update this page first and the change will only apply going forward.

We use a handful of trusted vendors to run the site. Each one is a processor — they hold data on our behalf, under contract, and they don't use it for their own marketing:

• Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — web hosting and aggregate analytics.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Anthropic — powers the AI concierge on the site. Messages you type into the concierge are sent to Anthropic to generate a response; they are not used to train models.
• Mapbox — renders the maps on listing and food-truck pages.
• Google Search Console — aggregate search-traffic reporting.

We may also disclose information if we're required to by law (a valid subpoena, court order, or similar legal process). If we ever have to do that, we'll tell the affected user unless the order prohibits it.

We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in (the Supabase Auth session cookie). We do not set third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If your browser blocks cookies, you can still browse the directory; you just won't be able to stay signed in.

You can ask us, any time, to export everything we have on you, or to delete your account and the data attached to it. Email hello@armenianlisting.com from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we have, delete it, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights — the email above covers all three.

The directory is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we'll delete it.

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. For big changes — new vendors with access to personal data, a new category of data we collect — we'll also email people with active accounts.
