Armenian Shorts Showcase Diverse Voices at Golden Apricot

The Armenian Weekly examined the short film competition at Golden Apricot 2026, where ten Armenian filmmakers presented works across varied subjects and styles. The "Apricot Stone" competition featured films including "Paid Mourners" by Ovsanna Gevorgyan, about a teenager resisting her family's mourning profession tradition, and "Together Alone" by Arthur Sahakyan, exploring grief through a widower's memories.
