U.S. and Armenian Officials Discuss TRIPP in Syunik Communities

U.S. Chargé d'Affaires David Allen and State Department Senior Advisor Jon Askonas, along with Armenian Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ministry representatives and engineering firm AECOM, held community meetings in Goris, Meghri, and Kapan to discuss the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) initiative.

The discussions focused on how the project's implementation could generate economic opportunities for Armenia, particularly in the Syunik region, while supporting Armenian sovereignty and territorial integrity. Local communities had opportunities to ask questions and share perspectives on the regional connectivity initiative.

U.S. and Armenian officials emphasized the importance of ongoing dialogue to keep communities informed and engaged as TRIPP moves forward.
