ARF Youth Represents Armenia at International Socialist Conference
ARF Youth represented at IUSY Balkan Round Table and Black Sea Area Committee
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Youth participated in the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY) Balkan Round Table and Black Sea Area Committee meeting in Skopje, North Macedonia, from September 10-13, 2026.
Syuneh Kevorkian represented ARF Youth at the conference, which brought together young leaders from socialist and social democratic organizations across the region. The gathering focused on democratic renewal and progressive resistance to authoritarianism.
During discussions on regional security and democratic backsliding, Kevorkian raised concerns about Armenian prisoners of war and hostages held in Baku, Azerbaijani military incursions in Armenian territory, and the right of return for Armenians displaced from Artsakh. She also emphasized the importance of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
The IUSY is an international organization connecting socialist and social democratic youth groups worldwide through regional committees addressing political developments.
