Turkmenistan President accepts Armenian PM’s invitation to attend COP17
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke by phone with Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two nations. During the call, Pashinyan invited Berdimuhamedov to attend the Leaders' Summit of COP17, the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, scheduled to take place in Armenia in October. The summit will focus on biodiversity conservation and related policy matters. Berdimuhamedov accepted the invitation, signaling continued diplomatic engagement between Armenia and Turkmenistan. Both leaders also emphasized the importance of expanding trade and economic ties and pursuing further cooperation on their bilateral agenda.
