The Armenian Weekly expands editorial team
The Armenian Weekly has appointed three journalists to its editorial staff, expanding the publication's coverage and geographic reach. Kevork Yacoubian, a political analyst based in Beirut, joins as assistant editor. He holds degrees from Haigazian University and Lebanese American University, with expertise in Turkish foreign policy and Middle Eastern geopolitics. Nanore Barsoumian, a Boston-based writer and researcher, takes on the role of investigations editor. She previously served as editor of The Armenian Weekly from 2014 to 2016 and has reported from Armenia, Artsakh, and Turkey. Rosie Nisanyan joins as arts and culture multimedia correspondent, bringing experience in Broadway advertising and creative writing. The hires reflect the Weekly's commitment to investigative journalism and cultural storytelling across the diaspora.
