Lorik Humanitarian Fund Launches 2026-27 Scholarship Campaign

The Lorik Humanitarian Fund has launched its 2026-27 Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund campaign to support students displaced from Artsakh. During the 2025-26 academic year, the fund distributed $60,810 in scholarships to 100 students across 27 Armenian educational institutions, covering a significant portion of the approximately $1,000 annual tuition per student.

The scholarship program, named after Aznavour Saghyan, the late mayor of Martuni who died defending his community in September 2023, aims to help families rebuilding their lives in Armenia. The 2026-27 campaign is initially prioritizing students from the Martuni region, with plans to expand as additional funding becomes available.

Lorik Humanitarian Fund provides comprehensive support to Artsakh-displaced families through education, housing, healthcare, small business development, and cultural preservation programs.
