Applications open for Koomruian Armenian Education Fund scholarships
The Peter and Alice Koomruian Armenian Education Fund is accepting applications for the 2027-2028 academic year. Scholarships are available to Armenian-ancestry students enrolled full-time at U.S. universities and colleges, with awards based on academic performance and financial need.
Established in 1986 through a $435,000 bequest from Alice Torigian Koomruian, the fund has distributed approximately $480,000 to 250 students across diverse fields of study over the past 25 years. Bank of America serves as trustee.
Prospective applicants should email terenikkoujakian@hotmail.com or write to the Koomruian Armenian Education Fund, c/o Bank of America Trust Services Center, 100 Westminster St., RI1-536-05-03, Providence, RI 02903. The deadline is April 1, 2027. International applicants must provide proof of F-1 student visa issuance.
