EU Signs Cooperation Letters With Six Armenian Organizations
EU signs letters of intent with six Armenian organizations

The European Commission signed six nonbinding "Letters of Intent" with Armenian organizations during an EU-Armenia Summit in Yerevan on May 5, aimed at strengthening people-to-people connectivity and diaspora engagement.
The signatory organizations—AGBU, Amber Capital Armenia, Synopsys Armenia, Firebird.ai, TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, and Creative Armenia—will explore cooperation in areas including diaspora investment mobilization, semiconductor education, digital innovation, creative industries, and entrepreneurship support.
Vasken Yacoubian, president of AGBU's Armenia chapter, told the Armenian Weekly that the EU initiative recognizes the diaspora's economic and social potential. He noted that while Armenia has faced internal divisions on political and identity issues, diaspora organizations remain committed to supporting Armenian statehood regardless of which government is in power.
