EU Backs Armenia-Turkey Business Forum in Yerevan
EU Ambassador highlights trade diversification at Armenia-Türkiye Business Forum
The EU Ambassador to Armenia opened a two-day Armenia-Türkiye Business Conference in Yerevan, bringing together roughly 200 entrepreneurs from both countries to explore economic cooperation opportunities. The forum spans multiple sectors including IT, tourism, construction, food production, and transport.
Ambassador Vassilis Maragos emphasized the European Union's support for Armenia's trade diversification initiatives, describing such cross-border business events as vital for opening new economic opportunities. The conference is organized by UMBA, the Eurasia Partnership Foundation Armenia, the Hrant Dink Foundation, and TEPAV under an EU-funded program titled "Support to Armenia-Türkiye Normalization: Enhancing Cross-border Linkages."
