C-Rouge to perform symphonic folk concert in Armenia
C-Rouge to perform at Koghb Vardavar

Lebanese-Armenian composer and producer C-Rouge (Serouj Baghdassarian) will perform "Symphonic Folk: The Epic Sound of Armenia" with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra on July 11 in Koghb, a village in Armenia's Tavush Province, as part of Vardavar Festival celebrations.
Baghdassarian, who has ancestral roots in Dikranagerd and Kesaria, specializes in blending traditional Armenian music with contemporary orchestral and electronic elements. Raised in Lebanon in a musical family, he has devoted his career to introducing Armenian heritage to new audiences. His notable projects include a 2005 reinterpretation of Komitas's "Grounk" and contributions to documentaries on the Armenian Genocide.
The concert brings together over 120 performers, including the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, traditional folk musicians, and soloists. The ambitious production, arranged by Martin Ulikhanyan and over a decade in development, was later released as a live album.
