AYF Olympics Gather Armenian Youth in New Jersey

The Armenian Youth Federation held its annual Olympics at the Glenpointe Marriott in New Jersey, drawing Armenian participants from across the United States and internationally. The event, organized after months of planning, featured a Welcome Desk with commemorative materials and merchandise, including specially designed t-shirts and water bottles.
Among attendees was Hagop Shishoyan, a physical therapist from Sydney, Australia, visiting the U.S. for the first time. Participants emphasized the Olympics' significance in fostering Armenian identity and community connections across generations. The weekend schedule included golf, tennis, swimming competitions, followed by an Alumni Dance and AYF Dance. Organizers noted the event's role in funding the Armenian Youth Federation while building lifelong friendships and commitment to the Armenian community.
