Armenian State Symphony Orchestra releases “Symphonic Lullabies”
The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra has released "Symphonic Lullabies," a new album featuring arrangements of works by celebrated Armenian composers transformed into gentle, soothing pieces for young audiences. The project, produced in partnership with Acba Bank and the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund, marks the first time a symphony orchestra has specially recorded lullabies using iconic Armenian melodies. The album includes arrangements of compositions by Komitas, Aram Khachaturian, Alexander Spendiarian, and other renowned Armenian composers, as well as traditional folk songs. Artistic Director Sergey Smbatyan initiated the project to introduce children to Armenian musical heritage through everyday moments like bedtime. The recordings are now available on over 40 digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
