Armenian Cultural Foundation Launches 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Armenian Cultural Foundation (ACF) held its first 50th anniversary event on June 4 in Tarzana, California, gathering roughly 80 community professionals and supporters. The private reception, titled "Under the Stars," marked the beginning of a series of regional gatherings leading to a December 2026 gala celebration.

Since its founding in 1976, the ACF has built 18 community centers across the Western United States and provided financial support to Armenian schools, churches, and organizations including Homenetmen, the Armenian Youth Federation, and the Armenian Relief Society. Operating as a nonprofit, the foundation reinvests nearly all revenue into community services.

Speakers emphasized the ACF's role as the institutional foundation of Armenian diaspora life in America, connecting community members to their heritage while building future generations of Armenian-Americans.
