Armenian Churches Adopt Weekly Performance Tracking System

Khachkar Studios is introducing a weekly management framework called Transparency, Accountability and Performance (T•A•P) to help Armenian churches measure their effectiveness and community engagement.
The initiative responds to concerning participation rates in Armenian churches. According to Khachkar Studios benchmarking data, Armenian churches rank near the bottom of comparable religious organizations, with only 0.7% of young Armenian-American women attending on a typical non-holiday Sunday.
The T•A•P system tracks metrics including weekly attendance, youth participation, outreach activities, invitations extended, digital content reach, and financial efficiency. Rather than relying on annual budgets and holiday attendance estimates, churches would measure and assess performance on a weekly basis.
Proponents argue that systematic measurement enables better decision-making without compromising spiritual missions, treating data collection as a tool to advance community engagement rather than reduce faith to numerical terms.
