Armenia's Foreign Minister Emphasizes Peace, Regional Connectivity
Mirzoyan highlights Armenia’s commitment to peace and regional connectivity at Manama Dialogue
Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan addressed the Manama Dialogue forum on November 1, reaffirming the country's commitment to peace and regional cooperation. Mirzoyan highlighted the August 2025 Washington Peace Summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which produced a joint declaration and peace agreement signed under U.S. witness.
The minister outlined Armenia's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative and the TRIPP infrastructure project, designed to strengthen connectivity across the South Caucasus and between East-West and North-South corridors. He emphasized that such projects should generate mutual benefits for regional and international partners.
Mirzoyan cited Armenia's economic performance, noting an average growth rate of 7.8% from 2022–2025 and 8% year-on-year growth in early 2026. He also expressed interest in expanding ties with Gulf countries through trade and investment, and invited participants to the next Yerevan Dialogue forum scheduled for May 2027.
