Armenia Restricts Individual Exports of Phytosanitary Products
Armenia bans commercial exports of phytosanitary products by individuals from July 10
Armenia has implemented new restrictions on phytosanitary product exports by individuals, effective July 10, in compliance with Eurasian Economic Union technical regulations. Under the new rules, individuals may no longer export commercial quantities of such products. Those transporting phytosanitary items for personal use are limited to carrying no more than 5 kilograms total.
The Food Safety Inspectorate has advised businesses and citizens to ensure all exports comply with established requirements and to review applicable regulations before shipment. The agency stated it will continue monitoring compliance and providing guidance to exporters to maintain phytosanitary safety standards. The move aligns Armenia's export practices with EAEU standards.
