Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told participants at the Armenia-UK Business Forum 2026 in Yerevan that implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) will be central to transforming Armenia's economy and the broader region's business environment.

Pashinyan highlighted Armenia's recent economic performance, noting 7.9% average annual growth over the past five years—exceeding the government's 7% target. He said GDP in 2025 was approximately 53% higher than in 2018.

The prime minister also discussed planned infrastructure projects including railway connections between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey; the North-South Road Corridor; and potential oil, gas, and electricity transmission lines. He emphasized renewable energy as a strategic priority and noted growing international investment interest in Armenia.

The forum, organized by the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia and the British Armenian Chamber of Commerce, drew roughly 2,000 participants from government, financial institutions, and the private sector.
