Armenia Invites Georgia to Participate in COP17 Summit
Pashinyan invites Kobakhidze to COP17 Leaders’ Summit in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze discussed bilateral cooperation during a phone conversation, according to the Armenian government. Pashinyan invited Kobakhidze to attend Armenia's upcoming COP17 Leaders' Summit, scheduled for October. The 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity will take place in Armenia and represents a significant international environmental conference. The two leaders also addressed broader strategic relations and ongoing cooperation between Armenia and Georgia across multiple sectors. Kobakhidze accepted the invitation to visit Armenia for the summit, the Armenian government said.
