Armenia Fest Returns to Royal Oak with Food and Music

Armenia Fest will return to Royal Oak, Michigan on Saturday, August 22, 2026, offering a free evening of Armenian culture, food, and entertainment. The festival takes place at the Royal Oak Farmers Market from 5 to 10 p.m., featuring traditional Armenian cuisine including kebabs, lamajoon, and baked goods, alongside wine and cognac offerings. Entertainment will include performances by the Armenia Fest All-Star Band and the Hamazkayin Arax Dance Troupe, while attendees can browse artisan vendors, cultural exhibits, and children's activities. The event also includes a Great Choreg Bake-Off competition and silent auction. Recognized as Royal Oak's first ethnic festival, Armenia Fest has become an established summer tradition in Southeast Michigan, where approximately 70,000 Armenians reside. Proceeds benefit the Knights of Vartan Economic Sustainability Program, which supports job creation and entrepreneurship in Armenia.
