Armenia has entered a new phase of space development, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at a Paris panel discussion on space infrastructure. Following the 2022 launch of ARMSAT-1, developed with European technology and SpaceX, Armenia achieved another milestone with HAYASAT-1 in 2023—the first satellite fully assembled and tested by Armenian specialists.

Under its 2026-2031 Government Program, Armenia plans to launch at least three additional satellites: two for Earth observation and one for telecommunications. The country aims to develop domestic ground infrastructure and capabilities for satellite control and data analysis.

Armenian engineers and companies will pursue greater participation in international space programs. The Strategic Program for Scientific Development designates space and aerospace technologies as priorities, including Earth observation, satellite communications, and navigation systems. Armenia is also developing an "AI Factories Park" ecosystem, highlighted by the recent opening of a NVIDIA-backed artificial intelligence facility.
