Argentina’s Chamber of Deputies establishes Parliamentary Friendship Group with Armenia
Argentina's Chamber of Deputies officially formed a Parliamentary Friendship Group with Armenia during a ceremony on August 4, according to Public Radio of Armenia. The group, chaired by Deputy María Luisa González Estevarena, includes representatives from the Chamber of Deputies and Armenian Ambassador Hovhannes Virabyan.
Ambassador Virabyan thanked González Estevarena for her leadership and acknowledged the prior efforts of former chair Deputy Lilia Lemoine. During the meeting, participants discussed expanding interparliamentary cooperation and outlined potential joint initiatives.
Both sides emphasized the role of Armenian-Argentine parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations and highlighted the Armenian community in Argentina as a bridge for mutual understanding. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties between the two nations.
