Human Rights Attorney to Discuss Armenian Hostages in LA
ALCβs Siranush Sahakyan to discuss Armenian hostage cases in LA

Siranush Sahakyan, executive director of the Armenian Legal Center for Justice and Human Rights, will hold two public events in the Los Angeles area this month to discuss Armenian hostages held by Azerbaijan.
Sahakyan, who represents Armenian detainees before the European Court of Human Rights, will speak at a free town hall in Burbank on September 22 and deliver a legal analysis at UCLA School of Law on September 24. Both events are open to the public.
Sahakyan recently filed a collective application to the European Court of Human Rights on behalf of 15 Armenians held in Azerbaijan, including political and military leaders of Artsakh. She has documented that detainees are held in isolation without access to relatives, independent doctors, or the International Committee of the Red Cross.
