ARF calls on AYF youth to strengthen diaspora
Preserving identity, keeping the cause alive

A representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation's Eastern U.S. region addressed the opening ceremony of the 2026 AYF Olympics in New Jersey, urging young Armenian diaspora members to build upon the legacy of previous generations. The speech emphasized the AYF's 90-year history as a movement dedicated to Armenian national survival and identity preservation. The speaker called on youth to strengthen diaspora institutions, expand organizational membership, and advance Armenian interests through advocacy and education programs. The address referenced historical figures like Aram Manoukian and acknowledged recent losses in Artsakh, framing youth engagement as essential to defending Armenian national interests and pursuing eventual reunification. The AYF-YOARF was encouraged to expand programs including Camp Haiastan, advocacy days, and internships in Armenia.
