Amulsar Mine Operators Complete International Certification Training
Internationally certified and ready for Amulsar: First group of operators completes training

The first group of heavy equipment operators trained for Armenia's Amulsar gold mine project has received internationally recognized certificates. The operators, ranging from age 29 to 52 and drawn from surrounding communities, completed a training program emphasizing knowledge, skills, and workplace safety standards.
Lydian Armenia, the mining company developing the project, partnered with Mota-Engil to deliver the training. Company officials noted that the international certification qualifies operators to work at mining operations globally, though they expressed hope participants would remain employed at Amulsar. The company plans to continue the training program for additional cohorts, aiming to develop a skilled workforce meeting international mining industry standards.
