UCLA and USC Host Archives of Displacement Zine Workshop
Archives of Displacement: A Zine-Making Workshop

UCLA Library and USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies are co-hosting "Archives of Displacement: A Zine-Making Workshop" in Los Angeles. The workshop brings together students and community members to explore themes of displacement through creative zine-making—a participatory format that combines writing, visual art, and personal narrative. The collaboration reflects growing academic interest in Armenian diaspora experiences and archival practices. Zines have become an accessible medium for documenting community histories and marginalized perspectives. This event serves Armenian-American audiences seeking to engage with their heritage through contemporary artistic and scholarly methods. The workshop represents an effort by major academic institutions to make Armenian studies resources and creative practices available to the broader Los Angeles Armenian community.
