Sofia's Municipal Council unanimously approved naming a promenade in the Peyo Yavorov neighborhood "Armenia Alley," with all 33 council members voting in favor. The decision, announced by Armenia's Embassy in Bulgaria, recognizes the centuries-old friendship between Armenian and Bulgarian peoples and acknowledges the Armenian community's contributions to Bulgarian public life.

Located in one of the district's most picturesque public spaces, the newly named alley will serve as a symbolic representation of Armenian-Bulgarian relations. The Embassy of Armenia expressed gratitude to Sofia's Sredets district administration for their role in advancing the initiative. An official opening ceremony is planned for the near future, with additional details to be announced later.
