Russian Railways President to visit Armenia next week, Pashinyan says
The president of Russian Railways will visit Armenia next week to discuss railway infrastructure improvements, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced. The visit is part of an agreement reached within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) framework.
During the visit, officials plan to hold working discussions to assess future collaboration in Armenia's railway sector and determine next steps for development. Pashinyan said conclusions will be drawn based on the outcome of these talks.
South Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, currently operates Armenia's railway system under a concession agreement. The visit underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen regional transportation infrastructure through international cooperation.
