Russia aims to expand economic, humanitarian cooperation with Armenia — Zakharova
Russia remains focused on deepening economic and humanitarian ties with Armenia, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova. Speaking to journalists, Zakharova emphasized Moscow's dedication to strengthening cooperation while maintaining dialogue on regional security matters through a mutually respectful framework.
"We are focused on economic and humanitarian development. We are also committed to addressing security-related challenges in the region on the basis of mutual respect," Zakharova stated, according to TASS.
The statement reflects Russia's ongoing engagement with Armenia amid broader regional developments. Russia has historically maintained close diplomatic and military ties with Armenia, and continues to position itself as a key partner in Armenian affairs.
