Pashinyan congratulates Putin on Russia Day
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin marking Russia Day, celebrated annually on June 12. The holiday commemorates the 1990 adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
In his message, Pashinyan praised the significance of the occasion and expressed confidence in continued Armenian-Russian bilateral cooperation. He emphasized the importance of longstanding ties between the two nations and their shared commitment to dialogue based on mutual respect for sovereignty and national interests.
"I wish you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, well-being and success in your state activities, and all the best and prosperity to the people of Russia," Pashinyan stated. The gesture reflects Armenia's ongoing diplomatic engagement with Russia, a key regional and security partner.
