Pashinyan meets Iranian president in Tehran
Pashinyan, Pezeshkian discuss Armenia-Iran ties, regional issues in Tehran
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during an official visit to Tehran. Pashinyan attended the farewell ceremony for Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and expressed Armenia's condolences to the Iranian people.
Pezeshkian thanked Pashinyan for Armenia's humanitarian assistance during Iran's recent period of mourning and acknowledged the Armenian government's supportive stance. The Iranian president also congratulated Pashinyan on his victory in Armenia's parliamentary elections, expressing hope that bilateral relations would continue to strengthen.
