Pakistan's PM Congratulates Pashinyan on Election Victory

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan following the Civil Contract party's victory in Armenia's recent parliamentary elections.

In a congratulatory message, Sharif expressed "heartfelt congratulations" on behalf of Pakistan's government and people, stating that Pashinyan's re-election "reflects the faith and confidence of the people of the Republic of Armenia in your leadership and your vision for a peaceful and progressive nation."

Sharif indicated Pakistan's willingness to strengthen bilateral relations with Armenia and reiterated Pakistan's support for peace and stability in the South Caucasus region. He expressed hope that Pashinyan's new term will advance "peace, stability and economic development in the South Caucasus" and extended wishes for Armenia's continued progress and prosperity.
