PACE Sends Delegation to Monitor Armenia's June 7 Election
PACE to Observe June 7 Parliamentary Election in Armenia

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will send a 22-member observer delegation to Armenia to monitor the country's June 7 parliamentary elections. The delegation, headed by Swiss lawmaker Damien Cottier of the ALDE political group, will be present in Armenia from June 5 to 8. International election observation missions are standard practice in many democracies and typically assess whether elections meet international standards for fairness, transparency, and accessibility. PACE is the human rights body of the Council of Europe, comprising representatives from member states' parliaments.
