Notations International Music Festival Brings 111 Artists to Yerevan
Yerevan to host 111 artists from 27 countries at Notations International Festival
Yerevan will host the Notations International Music Festival on August 1-2, drawing 111 artists, musicians, and researchers from 27 countries to showcase contemporary music, sound art, and interdisciplinary projects. The two-day event will feature daytime programming at the State Philharmonia of Armenia and National Gallery of Armenia, with evening events at Hayfilm Studio grounds.
The festival lineup includes acclaimed German electronic trio Brandt Brauer Frick alongside Armenian and international artists including Hogh Arthun, MOCT, and others. Organized by the hosq Foundation, the festival aims to create a collaborative space where international and Armenian artists can experiment and develop projects.
Many performances will premiere during the event. The festival's programming emerged from the Notations Music Laboratory, which received approximately 250 applications from artists and researchers across 38 countries.
