Juventus Academy Opens in Yerevan with High-Level Infrastructure

The Juventus Academy has officially opened in Yerevan's Avan district, marking a significant sports development in Armenia. The facility, constructed in one year, features modern infrastructure including multiple pitches, a gym, medical facilities, and coaching accommodations built to green building standards.

The opening ceremony drew Armenian government officials, UEFA representatives, and Juventus leadership. Peter Silverstone, Juventus Chief Business Officer, praised the facility as exceptional compared to the club's approximately 100 worldwide academies.

The academy will provide free training to talented youth, including children from Armenia's regions. Currently, 600-700 young players have registered. Fifteen foreign Juventus coaches apply the club's modern methodology. A second facility operates in Kentron district, with a third under construction in Kotayk Province. Top academy players will have opportunities to train at Juventus' Turin headquarters.
