Children explore relationship between people, art and nature during COP17 Week Dilijan
An art workshop titled "Unlocking Local Knowledge on Ecosystem Services" brought together children in Dilijan to explore the relationship between people, nature and creative expression. Organized by the hosq Foundation as part of COP17 Week Dilijan, the workshop introduced participants to engraving and printmaking techniques using natural materials such as soil, plants, stones and sand.
The program centered on understanding human environmental impact and encouraging conscious interaction with nature. Through artistic creation, children examined how human presence affects ecosystems and explored their role as interconnected participants in the natural world rather than passive observers.
The workshop was one of several COP17 Week events in Dilijan focusing on biodiversity, sustainable development and local community engagement in building a sustainable regional future.
