Iran’s President thanks Armenian PM in Armenian-language X post
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian publicly thanked Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for attending the state funeral of Iran's Supreme Leader, posting messages in both English and Armenian on X.
In his Armenian-language post, Pezeshkian acknowledged Pashinyan's personal participation despite "malicious propaganda" and efforts by adversaries to damage Iran-Armenia relations. He characterized the prime minister's attendance as a reflection of the countries' deep historical ties and Armenia's commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Pezeshkian emphasized that attempts to create discord between the neighboring nations would fail, describing Iran-Armenia friendship as "unshakable" and committed to expansion. He expressed confidence that both countries would deepen cooperation through mutual respect and good neighborliness, calling bilateral relations "stronger than ever."
