Gyumri's Victory Park to Receive Major Renovation
Gyumri’s Victory Park Slated for Much Needed Facelift: Government to Spend $469K

Armenia's government has allocated approximately $469,000 to renovate Victory Park in Gyumri, the country's second-largest city. The project follows an 80/20 state-community investment model, with the national government contributing 68.8 million AMD and the local community contributing 17.2 million AMD from a total budget of 86 million AMD. The renovation addresses long-standing maintenance needs at the public space. The funding structure reflects Armenia's approach to infrastructure development, combining central government resources with local community participation to share both costs and responsibility for the project's success.
