Armenia's Gas Supply to Face Brief Maintenance Suspension
Natural gas supplies from Russia to Armenia to be temporarily suspended
Natural gas supplies to Armenia will be temporarily halted from September 15 to 25 for scheduled maintenance on a major Russian pipeline, Gazprom Armenia announced.
The work will take place on the North Caucasus–Transcaucasus main gas pipeline in Russian territory. Despite the suspension, the company said consumers across Armenia will experience no disruptions in service.
Gazprom Armenia stated that uninterrupted supply will be maintained through domestic gas reserves and additional imports from Iran during the maintenance period. The planned work is part of routine operations to ensure reliable operation of the gas transportation system.
