Detroit Wins Fourth Consecutive AYF Olympics Title

The Armenian Youth Federation held its 2026 Olympic Games at George W. Hodgins Stadium in Paramus, New Jersey, with Detroit capturing the championship for the fourth consecutive year. The two-day competition featured 20 events on Friday and 34 on Sunday, with track and field comprising the bulk of scoring opportunities.
Philadelphia finished second, while host chapter New Jersey placed third after climbing from fifth place. Anoush Krafian of Detroit was recognized as the all-time leading female scorer in AYF-YOARF Olympic Games history, surpassing both alumni and active women's records. Other award recipients included Tateos Kassabian of Providence and Teny Topouzian of Detroit in the pentathlon, and Providence's fifth consecutive softball championship. Sam Selverian of Philadelphia tied the men's golf scoring record with a 67.
