The Detroit "Kopernik Tandourjian" Chapter captured the title at the 92nd AYF Olympics held in New Jersey over Labor Day weekend, marking their fourth consecutive championship. Philadelphia's "Sebouh" Chapter finished second with 127 points, while host New Jersey's "Arsen" Chapter placed third with 94.5 points.
Detroit athletes dominated individual competitions. Natalya Katcherian won three swimming events, while Ariana Nigoghosian claimed victories in distance running. Teny Topouzian of Detroit won the women's pentathlon with 1,962 points; Providence's Tateos Kassabian took the men's pentathlon with 2,399 points.
Other notable achievements included Providence's "Varantian" Chapter winning the softball competition and Middlesex County West earning the Most Improved designation. Sam Selverian of Philadelphia tied the golf record with a score of 67.
