Czech Senate delegation visits Armenian Genocide Memorial
A delegation from the Czech Republic's Senate visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan today, led by Lumír Kantor, Chairman of the Social Policy Committee. The group included Petr Pirunčík, Czech Ambassador to Armenia, and was hosted by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Chair of Armenia's Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs.
Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, welcomed the visitors and provided an overview of the memorial's construction history, architectural design, and historical significance. The visit reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between the Czech Republic and Armenia on matters of cultural and historical importance.
