Artist Argues Armenians Undervalue Their Culture: A Case Study of Cilician Armenian Embroidery
An artist and educator has raised concerns that Armenians undervalue their own cultural traditions, citing Cilician Armenian embroidery as a case study. The artist, who teaches painting at AGBU's Martiros Saryan Academy in Aleppo, has pursued ethnographic research alongside his teaching work since relocating from Armenia to Syria.
