Artist Anahit Rodvan Transitions from Finance to Contemporary Art

Anahit Rodvan, born and raised in Yerevan, has pursued a career shift from finance and technology to professional visual art. After earning a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the International Scientific-Educational Center and studying programming, Rodvan realized her true passion lay in drawing and painting. A pivotal moment came while reading Austin Kleon's "Steal Like an Artist," which prompted her to commit fully to creative work. Since 2022, based in Manchester and now Austria, Rodvan has participated in group and solo exhibitions, with large-scale acrylic works currently displayed at an Armenian restaurant in Manchester. She works in both traditional acrylic painting and digital media, creating contemporary art inspired by personal experience and observation. Rodvan emphasizes dialogue between artwork and viewer rather than providing definitive interpretations.
