ARS Eastern USA Convenes Regional Seminar at Camp Haiastan

The Armenian Relief Society of Eastern USA held a three-day seminar from June 5–7 at AYF Camp Haiastan, bringing together over 71 members from 16 chapters across the region. Under the theme "Empowered Chapters, Enduring Communities," participants engaged in presentations and discussions focused on strengthening local chapters and community engagement.

Sessions covered elder support, civic participation, and organizational sustainability. ARS Eastern Region Board Treasurer Talar Abdalian announced that the organization has allocated more than $330,000 to community initiatives, homeland programs, and humanitarian efforts. The seminar also featured an open forum where members discussed evolving community needs and future opportunities. ARS Chair Mimi Parseghian emphasized the significance of gathering at Camp Haiastan, noting that the ARS provided seed funding to establish the camp decades ago.
