Armenian Youth Center Hosts First Casino Royale Fundraiser
Armenian Youth Center holds inaugural fundraiser

The Armenian Youth Center of Greater Washington, D.C., held its inaugural Casino Royale Charity Fundraiser on May 16 in Lorton, Virginia, drawing supporters, families and community members to a family-friendly evening of gaming and entertainment. The event featured casino games including blackjack, poker and roulette, along with food, raffles and an auction. Organizers emphasized the unexpectedly multigenerational character of the gathering, with children actively participating alongside adults. The fundraiser aims to support the organization's mission to establish a physical youth center serving the region's Armenian youth through educational, cultural and athletic programs. The event also included a special charitable presentation benefiting Hamazdegh Armenian Sunday School. Organizers plan to make Casino Royale an annual spring event to complement the center's existing autumn golf outing.
