Eurasian Intergovernmental Council Discusses Cooperation Within EAEU Framework
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended a restricted-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Cholpon-Ata to discuss regional cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) framework.
The council meeting brought together representatives from EAEU member states to address bilateral and multilateral matters affecting the trade bloc. Pashinyan's participation underscores Armenia's ongoing engagement with its Eurasian partners on economic and political coordination.
The EAEU, established in 2015, comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. These councils typically address tariffs, regulatory harmonization, and joint strategic initiatives among member nations.
