Armenian PM Attends CIS Summit in Turkmenistan
Armenian PM travels to Turkmenistan for CIS summit
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled to Turkmenistan for a two-day working visit to attend a Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit. The meeting of the Council of Heads of State took place in the city of Turkmenbashi and brought together leaders of CIS member states. The agenda focused on regional cooperation issues and organizational matters affecting the CIS bloc. The visit represents Armenia's continued participation in the multilateral organization comprising former Soviet republics. Such summits serve as forums for member states to coordinate policy and discuss shared concerns within the post-Soviet space.
