Armenian organizations to present refugee justice at UN Human Rights Council
ARS to host HRC 63 side event on refugee justice for women and children of Artsakh

The Armenian Relief Society and Armenian Legal Center will host a side event at the 63rd UN Human Rights Council session on September 24, 2026, in Geneva. The discussion will focus on refugee justice and durable solutions for over 100,000 ethnic Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023.
Key topics include protection of displaced persons, access to housing, healthcare, education and employment; principles of safe and dignified return; property restitution; cultural heritage preservation; and accountability measures. The event will convene member state representatives, human rights experts, humanitarian practitioners, and civil society stakeholders to develop rights-based approaches to recovery and long-term solutions.
